Guys. I finally got these in after waiting a month to ship from Croatia and I can say they sound soo good! They rival the Lollars and McNelly PUPS that I have in other guitars. I can't stop singing their praises. I did a really quick test and uploaded it over on SoundCloud.
a quick test of these Q-Pickup p90's

I got two hot tele bridge pu's from Q for a couple of Knotty Wolf Tele Esq's I'm building. Waiting on the finish to cure. Ordered on Christmas, arrived 5.5 weeks later from Croatia. FYI.

It did take almost 6 weeks for these pups to arrive so there that. If you are in a hurry this is not the way to go, but if you can wait you can get a great deal on some incredible pick ups.

I’ll bump this again. I love these pickups and love working with this guy (Ivan). Just ordered my third set. First was for a Tele, a tapped set with vintage and hot output on both the bridge and neck. Sound great, my favorite Tele pickups ever. Guy in audience said my tone (through ‘68 Vibrolux) was what he’s always been looking for (not my playing though, probably!). Then ordered some PAF style pickups Ivan made special for me for a 335 style guitar. Perfect. Like them at least as much as some an antiquity I have. Now I’ve ordered a Strat set with A2/3 magnets, tapped bridge & cool chrome & foil covers for a funky sparkle Strat I’m putting together (better at building than I am at playing, I guess). They are supposed to be here in just 10 days or so, so delivery times are maybe better now than this winter. Anyways, great pickups, And Ivan will help you come up with your own custom design, which (for me, anyways) is more fun than just buying the same off the shelf pickups everyone else has. And the prices are more than fair. Here’s my gold sparkle Tele - I use an s-1 switch to go from vintage to hot.

My current Tele project has a set of the 5/2 Vintage/Hot waiting to go in (body finish issues). It was a wait for them to be able to ship to the US again, but I got my desired pickups.

Has anyone tried his Quarter Pounder style pickups? Thinking of getting a neck one for a baritone Tele.

I bought a set of the 635 Silver Sky clones a couple weeks ago; they showed up over Thanksgiving. Packed well and look good. Hoping to drop them into a Road Worn partscaster build this weekend or next, can report back. Given the reviews on all the other Q Pickups, I bet the QP style ones are going to be solid too.

Nice, I think you'll love 'em! I have a set of Q pickups P90s in this beautiful B-way Custom guitar that I grabbed for a great price, they sound absolutely amazing! Wouldn't hesitate to get another set.
Hey, that's my old guitar that I got directly from Ben I just never bonded with it and couldn't GIVE it away so finally just used it toward something I liked better at Guitar Center. How are you liking it?

It was an awesome guitar! I ended up moving it to a new home maybe a year after I got it, but I thought it was very well built and played and sounded great.
I will say that I didn’t have any trouble moving it for significantly more than I paid for it at GC…but generally custom stuff can be a tough sell.

I have a set of the hot A4s red bottom set in my #1. Just great tones! Very hi-fi yet warm, not sterile. Love'em.

next time consider Bootstrap. Thats pretty much all i use now and they are $50/set ! USA made by a guy in Ohio and as quality as anything. Many say as good as anything out there and maybe barring ellis or such, i agree. I just ordered another set, a strat set thats very popular as a slightly overwound neck/middle and hotter (7.4k) bridge. Thing about this guy is he is crazy good as far as customer service. I wasn't happy with a tele bridge i tried to see if i liked the spec which was new to me, and I wasn't so he sent me the other one i wanted with specs i know i like in it's place free of all shipping charges ! He sent it to me even before i sent the one back and he sent it with a prepaid shipping box. You can't do better then that ! Only Issue is that because he's so busy filling orders that lead time is usually about a month, and and emails often take a long time to answer due to how busy they are. Go to the TDPRI tele forum and ask about Bootstrap. A lot of people there swear by them. Oh, and they will do custom orders for a extra fee which still leaves them cheaper then anyone.
