Spanish A1 is for people with no prior knowledge of Spanish. Once you've completed thiscourse you will be able to:

• greet people as well as introduce yourself and others;
• ask for and provide personal details;
• get around in shops and restaurants;
• conduct simple discussions in present and future tenses;
• talk about daily activities such as work or sports.

• ask and explain directions;

• talk about the weather;

• learn to use the present perfect tense;

• talk about the positive and negative aspects of work.

Spanish B1^minus is for people with intermediate knowledge of Spanish, meaning you should be able to make yourself understood in common, everyday situations. Registering for this course is only possible when you have passed the previous course or have made the online intake test.You will learn how to:

• prepare discussions and participate;

• give presentations about a current topic;

• talk about learning habits and skills;

• talk about food;

• talk about advantages and disadvantages, make comparisons;

• express your feelings and your wishes;

• share your opinion, express agreement and disagreement;

• talk about films, books and concerts;

• talk about the past.

SpanishB1^plus is for people with a fairly high level of Spanish, meaning you are able to make yourself understood in any common, everyday situation, even though you might not have all the necessary vocabulary. An online intaketest is necessary when you do not have a B1^minus certificate.In this course, you will improve your ability to debate and present certain topics and will learn to:

• talk about the future and make predictions;

• express skills and aptitudes;

• talk about memories, tell anecdotes;

• learn how to connect ideas;

• ask favours and ask permission;

• express prohibition, obligations and norms;

• to lead a discussion or debate and give presentations on a topical issue;

Spanish B2 is intended for people who can use Spanish independently, meaning you have already completed a number of courses or have lived in Spain or Latin America for a while and are able to make yourself well understood in all situations. In this course, you will improve your ability to:

• express acceptance, rejection and avoidance;
• hold debates and give presentations;
• make summaries;
• hypothesise and speculate;

SpanishC1^minus is for people who already have a very good knowledge of Spanish, meaning you have enough skills to be able to comfortably participate in spontaneous conversations. In thiscourse you will further build your skills and knowledge of the Spanish language. To do so, you will pay attention to situations pertaining to your work or study, such as giving advice. You will also learn:

• discuss typical subjects concerning your country or a country you are familiar with;
• clearly express and explain your ideas and opinions;
• give aclear and well structured presentation, as well as spontaneously answer questions;
• use grammar correctly;
• make summaries;

• argue, presenting and debating;

• letters and e-mails (formal and informal).

If you have no prior knowledge of Spanish, you can simply register forlevelA1by using our registration form for language courses.After registering, you will receive a confirmation.

If you would like to take any of the other levels, you must first successfully complete the previous level, or demonstrate a comparable level of French.

If you already have some knowledge of the language and would like to join a non-beginners group then please schedule an online intake by using ourscheduling systemto make an appointment, free of charge.

Book an intake well before the course is scheduled to begin. This process will make it easier to make the appointment, and more likely that there will still be an available spot in the module that’s right for you.
